Starting Crops in the Greenhouse

It is hard to believe it is mid-February and we are already getting some Spring crops seeded in the greenhouse. It was almost 40° F outside, and definitely into the 70’s in the greenhouse. Jessica and I cleaned up, and broad forked the beds we were seeding, and then seeded the first successions of cold hardy lettuce, arugula, kale, spinach, beets, carrots, and radishes.

Jessica also worked on pruning the fruit trees today, something we are slowly getting better at, but maybe still lack some confidence in. Taking a hands-on workshop would be nice, but for now YouTube and the fruit books we have will do.
